
Portuguese chicken and ribs are offered in an - unpretentious and comfortable space. The affordable gourmet quality food can be enjoyed in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The lunch and dinner menu is considered traditional with a few creative touches. The house specialty "Frango", chicken on the bone marinated with traditional Portuguese seasoning and roasted over a wood charcoal fire. Another specialty is the pork ribs, slow cooked, smoked and grilled to perfection. Bitoque, a popular and traditional dish consists of char-grilled choice steak served over Portuguese chips and topped with a fried egg in a garlic sauce. Another wonderful menu choice is the paelha, at Piri-Q you can choose from three different varieties: seafood, chicken or vegetarian.
Traditional Portuguese appetizers include: Bolinhos de Bacalau (cod and potato fritters), Rissois (smooth shrimp mousse empanadas), Chourico (cured fire roasted Portuguese pork sausage) and Garlic Shrimp (baby shrimp bathed in garlic, lemon, wine & piri-piri shellfish sauce). Not so traditional, however very popular, is the Roasted Garlic Hummus, served with cucumber slices and grilled mini pita and Piri-Piri wings, char- grilled and tossed in the chef's homemade piri-piri.
